This is a lovely neck for the price. The frets are level and the satin finish is smooth. With a bit of smoothing on the fret ends. it should play nice. It is a shame that it arrived with a couple of dings in the back of the neck and one on the fretboard. I should be able to sand out the back of the neck, but repairing the fretboard will be more difficult. Better packaging would have been the simple solution.
